Basundi is a sweet concentrated milk. Basundi is the indigenous milk product prepared by the condensing milk by using partial evaporation. Basundi is extensively used as a sweet dish. The product is served chilled as a desert .It looks like condensed milk with flakes. It is light brown in colour and looks like a thick fluid. It is also used as a festive sweet in the India. Basundi is packed in Food grade polythene cups. At PUNJAB SIND it is hygienically prepared under the supervision of trained personals. Sugar is added as additive to the Basundi to enhance taste and does not have any preservative effect.
