It literally means ghee with herb extracts.Punjab Sind herbal ghee is made from selective herbs which constitutes arjuna terminalia / Tulsi / Pudina / saffron/ paprika. Ghee has been recognized as Indian medicine in ayurveda. In Punjab Sind it is carefully and hygienically prepared in the proper manner in combination with other herbs. It assimilates the properties of the herb with which it is combined. A generalized method of preperation is described in detail in “Sharangdhar Samhita” (A classical ayurvedic text). Ghee is one of the most widely used fat rich dairy products in India. It has been an integral part of our culture. Ancient Sanskrit literature describes ghee (ghrit) as food fit for God and commodity of enormous value. A major portion of ghee is utilized for cooking and frying of different foods as well as dressing of certain prepared foods. Ghee is also used in rituals and is a popular therapeutic agent.s
